Inspection steps
CAUTION:
When the skid control ECM (brake actuator assembly) has been replaced, make sure to perform [VDC sensor midpoint setting mode]. (Refer to WORK SUPPORT
)
- Diagnostic code output check (CAN communication system)
- Check CAN communication system. (Refer to HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT
)
Result
Result Go to No output A Output exists B B: To CAN communication system (How to troubleshoot) (Refer to HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT )
A: Go to next step
- Check CAN communication system. (Refer to HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT
)
- Inspection of skid control ECM connector connection
- Check if the skid control ECM connector is properly connected.
Criteria: The connector is properly connected.
NG: Properly connect the connector to the ECM.
OK: Go to next step
- Check if the skid control ECM connector is properly connected.
- Check the battery.
- Check the battery voltage.
Standard voltage: 11 to 14 V
NG: Repair or replace charging system components or battery (Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
OK: Go to next step
- Check the battery voltage.
- Combination meter assembly check
- Start the engine.
- Using SSM3, display [System Operation Check Mode] of the combination meter assembly (meter CPU). (Refer to CURRENT DATA DISPLAY & SAVE/SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK MODE )
- Check the combination meter assembly.
Criteria: In response to the SSM3 operation, the slip indicator light turns ON/OFF.
