Battery Cable Assembly: Removal

- Disconnect the ground terminal (A) and remove the ground cable from the clip (B).
- Disconnect the ground terminal (C) and remove the battery cable holder (D).
- Remove the battery sensor harness from the clip (E).
- Disconnect the terminal (A), terminal (B) and terminal (C).
- Disconnect the slow blow fuse from the terminal base.
- Remove the terminal of battery cable assembly from the terminal base.
- Disconnect the terminal (A) and the terminal (B), and remove the slow blow fuse (C).NOTE:
Perform this procedure only when required.
- Remove the V-belt covers.
- Disconnect the connector (A), connector (B) and terminal (C), and remove the clip (D) and clip (E).
- Remove the intercooler. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DOTC)>INTERCOOLER>REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the connector.
- Disconnect the terminal B (A) and ground terminal (B). (CVT model)CAUTION:
In order to prevent damaging the ground terminal, fix the ground terminal when loosing the bolt, and avoid the part from rotating together while loosening the bolt.
- Disconnect the connector (A), terminal B (B) and ground terminal (C). (MT model)CAUTION:
In order to prevent damaging the ground terminal, fix the ground terminal when loosing the bolt, and avoid the part from rotating together while loosening the bolt.
- Release the claw securing the battery cable assembly to the intake manifold assembly.
- Disengage the claw securing the battery cable assembly to the bracket, and remove the battery cable assembly.
- Remove the terminal base.NOTE:
Perform this procedure only when required.
