Starting System & Charging System: Battery: Installation
CAUTION:
Since the initial diagnosis of the electronic throttle control is conducted after the battery terminal is connected, wait for 10 seconds or more after turning the ignition switch to ON, and then start the engine.
- Install the battery.
- Install the battery holder.
Tightening torque:
3.5N.m (0.4kgf-m, 2.6ft-lb)
- Install the battery cable holder.
- Connect the positive terminal and then connect the ground terminal to the battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
.NOTE: Clean the battery terminals and apply a thin coat of grease to prevent corrosion as necessary.
Tightening torque:
6 N.m (0.6kgf-m, 4.4ft-lb)
- Install the battery sensor.
Tightening torque:
6 N.m (0.6kgf-m, 4.4ft-lb)
- Connect the connector and ground terminal.
Tightening torque:
7.5N.m (0.8kgf-m, 5.5ft-lb)
