Deck Assembly
CAUTION:
Before handling the airbag system components, refer to AIRBAG SYSTEM>General Description>CAUTION

- Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
.NOTE:
- Release the shift lock and shift the select lever to the "N" position. Refer to CONTROL SYSTEMS>Select Lever>REMOVAL .
- On power seat models, move the front seat all the way forward before disconnecting the ground terminal from the battery sensor.
- Remove the cover assembly front and the console box assembly. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Console Box>REMOVAL .
- Remove the deck assembly. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Console Box>DISASSEMBLY .
- Remove the cover LWR driver. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Instrument Panel Lower Cover>REMOVAL .
- Remove the visor assembly. Refer to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>Combination Meter>REMOVAL .
- Remove the driver monitoring unit assembly. Refer to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>Driver Monitoring Unit>REMOVAL
.NOTE: For the model without driver monitoring system, remove the cover center UPR in the same procedure as for the driver monitoring unit assembly.
- Remove the grip and boot. Refer to CONTROL SYSTEMS>Select Lever>REMOVAL .
- Remove the cover assembly front. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Console Box>REMOVAL .
- Remove the ornament panel mid passenger and the center information display assembly. Refer to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>Cockpit Display>REMOVAL>DISPLAY ASSEMBLY .
- Remove the cover center side RH. Refer to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Center Console>REMOVAL .
- Release the cord clip and the cord clamp, and remove the deck cord.
