Front Seat: Installation

  1. Bring the front seat inside the vehicle.
  2. Connect the connectors located under the front seat.
  3. Install the seat assembly.
    CAUTION:
    • Tighten the slide rail assembly installing bolts in the order as shown in the figure, in several steps by gradually increasing the torque until they reach the specified torque.

    • Before installing the bolt cover, check the cover inside. If deformed or damaged, replace the bolt cover with a new one.

      Incorrect installation of the bolt cover may result in detachment while driving the vehicle.

    Tightening torque: 

    53 N.m (5.4 kgf-m, 39.1 ft-lb)

  4. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Refer to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  5. Install the headrest assembly.
  6. Perform [Rezeroing] for the occupant detection system. Refer to AIRBAG (DIAGNOSTICS)>Rezero .
  7. For model with door mirror interlocked seat position memory, initialize the ECM seat memory. Refer to SEATS>Power Seat System>ADJUSTMENT .
