Rear Gate Glass: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the trim panel rear gate. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Rear Gate Trim>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the motor assembly rear wiper. Ref. to WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEMS>Rear Wiper Motor>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the roof spoiler. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Roof Spoiler>REMOVAL .
  5. Remove the smart rearview camera. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>Camera>REMOVAL>REAR>SMART REARVIEW CAMERA ASSEMBLY .
  6. Disconnect the radio antenna connector.
  7. Disconnect the rear defogger connector.
  8. Remove the glass rear gate in the same procedure as for the glass windshield. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>Windshield Glass>REMOVAL .
