Steering Heater
NOTE:
Perform the inspection when the temperature around the steering wheel is 40°C or less.
- Turn the heater switch to ON, and check that the indicator light illuminates.
- Check if the heater area of the steering wheel becomes warm.
The heater may not operate if the temperature of the steering wheel or in its peripheral area is approx. 40°C or more. This is because of a temperature control function, and therefore is not a malfunction.
