Power Window
- When removing power windows-related components, refer to cautions in the glass/windows/mirrors article. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOW/MIRRORS>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
- Be careful not to lose the power supply to the power window motor by removing or installing the battery terminal or the regulator and motor assembly connector of each seat while the power window (of the driver's or passenger's seat) is operating. If it is lost by mistake, perform the initial setting of the power window. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS)>WORK SUPPORT>OPERATION>SYSTEM INITIALIZATION .
- Perform the initial setting of the power window whenever the regulator and motor assembly (of the driver's or passenger's seat), or the glass assembly or running channel of each seat is removed, installed or replaced. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS)>WORK SUPPORT>OPERATION>SYSTEM INITIALIZATION .
- Otherwise, the glass location is not recognized, resulting that the automatic operation function, window auto-reverse, window drawing foreign matter prevention, or off-delay function may not operate properly.
- If a DTC is displayed on the Subaru Select Monitor, do not clear the memory before the diagnosis for the DTC is performed. Otherwise, DTC may not be referred to and improper diagnosis may result. Perform the diagnosis for DTCs, and repair or replace the cause of trouble before clearing the memory.
