Outlet Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Drain engine coolant. Ref. to COOLING (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>DRAINING OF ENGINE COOLANT .
  3. Remove the generator. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>GENERATOR>REMOVAL .
  4. Disconnect the connector (A) and remove the outlet engine coolant temperature sensor using the ST.
    NOTE: STRUT MOUNT SOCKET (20099PA000) can also be used.

    ST: STRUT MOUNT SOCKET (20399AG000)
