Basic Inspection

Before performing diagnosis, check the following items which might affect the problem of Driver Monitoring System.

1. Check the battery. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DO)>BATTERY>INSPECTION .
2. Check the main and other fuses, and harnesses. Also check for proper grounding.
3. Check whether the infrared LED illuminates/goes off according to ON/OFF of Driver Monitoring System OFF Switch.
4. When Driver Monitoring Unit is soiled with any dirt or fingerprint, wipe off with soft cloth or cloth wrung out of water.
