Front Reduction Driven Gear: Disassembly

  1. Remove the front reduction driven shaft.

  2. Remove the seal rings.

  3. Remove the ball bearing.
    1. Tap the ball bearing outer race to remove through the hole of front reduction driven shaft using the round bar with diameter of 7 mm (0.28 in).
      NOTE: Remove by tapping the entire circumference equally.

  4. Remove the snap ring, and then remove the retaining plate, drive plate, driven plate and dish plate.
    NOTE: In order to avoid installing the dish plate in the wrong direction, paint a mark before removal.
