Transmission Harness: Installation
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Install a new O-ring.NOTE: Apply CVTF to the O-rings.
- Set the transmission harness, and install the clip.
- Install the bolt which holds the transmission harness.
Tightening torque:
5 N.m (0.5 kgf-m, 3.7 ft-lb)
- Install the control valve body. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR690)>CONTROL VALVE BODY>INSTALLATION .
- Remove the ST (STAND ASSY).
- Install the torque converter. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR690)>TORQUE CONVERTER>INSTALLATION .
- Connect the ground terminal, and connect the connectors to the primary speed sensor, secondary pressure sensor, inhibitor switch and electric oil pump.
Tightening torque:
13 N.m (1.3 kgf-m, 9.6 ft-lb)
- Install the electric oil pump cover and ground terminal.
Tightening torque:
16 N.m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.8 ft-lb)
- Connect the ground terminal, and connect the connectors to the secondary speed sensor and front wheel speed sensor.
Tightening torque:
13 N.m (1.3 kgf-m, 9.6 ft-lb)
- Install the ground cord and stay.
Tightening torque:
16 N.m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.8 ft-lb)
- Install the transmission body. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR690)>TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY>INSTALLATION .
