Transmission Harness: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install a new O-ring.
    NOTE: Apply CVTF to the O-rings.
  2. Set the transmission harness, and install the clip.
  3. Install the bolt which holds the transmission harness.

    Tightening torque: 

    5 N.m (0.5 kgf-m, 3.7 ft-lb)

  4. Install the control valve body. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR690)>CONTROL VALVE BODY>INSTALLATION .
  5. Remove the ST (STAND ASSY).
  6. Install the torque converter. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR690)>TORQUE CONVERTER>INSTALLATION .
  7. Connect the ground terminal, and connect the connectors to the primary speed sensor, secondary pressure sensor, inhibitor switch and electric oil pump.

    Tightening torque: 

    13 N.m (1.3 kgf-m, 9.6 ft-lb)

  8. Install the electric oil pump cover and ground terminal.

    Tightening torque: 

    16 N.m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.8 ft-lb)

  9. Connect the ground terminal, and connect the connectors to the secondary speed sensor and front wheel speed sensor.

    Tightening torque: 

    13 N.m (1.3 kgf-m, 9.6 ft-lb)

  10. Install the ground cord and stay.

    Tightening torque: 

    16 N.m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.8 ft-lb)

  11. Install the transmission body. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR690)>TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY>INSTALLATION .
