High-mounted Stop Light: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the trim panel assembly rear gate. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Rear Gate Trim>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the drip rear gate. (Model without power rear gate)

  4. Remove the sensor touch assembly. (Model with power rear gate) Ref. to POWER REAR GATE SYSTEM>Power Rear Gate Touch Sensor>REMOVAL .
  5. Remove the spoiler assembly roof. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>Roof Spoiler>REMOVAL .
  6. Remove the stop light assembly high-mounted.
    1. Remove the nuts and remove the stop light assembly high-mounted.
