Intermediate Shaft: Installation

  1. Set the one-way clutch inner race to the No. 3 one-way clutch, and install to the intermediate shaft.

    (A) One-way clutch inner race
    (B) No. 3 one-way clutch
    (C) Intermediate shaft
  2. Install the intermediate shaft.

  3. Install the snap ring.
    NOTE: Face the snap ring end towards the control valve side.

  4. Install the No. 2 brake cylinder. Ref. to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION>NO. 2 BRAKE CYLINDER>INSTALLATION .
