Time Lag Test: Inspection
NOTE:
- Always perform the inspection after the engine check and adjustment.
- Perform the inspection with the A/C OFF.
- Perform with the engine coolant temperature at 60 - 90°C (140 - 194°F).
- Apply the parking brake.
- Place wheel chocks at the front and rear of all wheels.
- Start the engine.
- While depressing the brake pedal, shift the select lever from "N range" to "D range", and measure the time elapsed from shifting the lever until the shock is felt.NOTE:
- Make three measurements and take the average value.
- Be sure to allow one minute or more interval between tests.
Specification:
1.2 seconds or less
