CAUTION: Blowing compressed air through mass airflow sensor will damage it.
MASS AIRFLOW (MAF) SENSOR VOLTAGE TEST (1)

Application ECM Terminal Volts
Ign. On, Eng. Off (2) B8 & Ground 1.0-1.6
Engine Idle Speed B8 & Ground 1.7-2.0
(1) Voltage should increase as engine speed increases.
(2) Ignition on, confirm battery voltage between B+ of MAF coupler and ground.
POWER STEERING PRESSURE SIGNAL VSV (IF EQUIPPED)

Application Ohms
All Models (1) .33-.39
(1) Measure between power steering VSV terminals.
THROTTLE POSITION (TP) SENSOR RESISTANCE

Application Ohms
Between Terminals "A" & "B"
With .020" (.50 mm) Clearance At Stop Screw 0-500
With .031" (.80 mm) Clearance At Stop Screw Infinity
Between Terminals "A" & "D" 3500-6500
Between Terminals "A" & "C"
At Idle 300-2000
At Wide Open Throttle (1) 2000-6500
(1) There should be more than 2000 ohms difference between idle and wide open throttle readings.
VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR (VSS) RESISTANCE

Application Ohms
All Models (1) *
(1) With ohmmeter connected to vehicle speed sensor terminals, ohmmeter should alternate between zero and infinity 4 times per sensor shaft revolution.
