LUBRICATION SPECIFICATIONS

Engine Oil (1) Ambient Temperature Less Than 0°F (-18°C) To 50°F (10°C) SAE 5W-30
Engine Oil (1) Ambient Temperature Over -4°F (-20°C) To 86°F (30°C) SAE 10W-30
Engine Oil (1) Ambient Temperature Over -4°F (-20°C) To Over 100°F (40°C) SAE 10W-40 or 10W-50
Engine Coolant All 50/50 Mixture of Distilled Water & Ethylene Glycol
Brake Fluid All DOT 3
Clutch Fluid All DOT 3
Power Steering Fluid All DEXRON III Or Equivalent
Automatic Transmission Fluid All DEXRON III Or Equivalent
Manual Transmission Gear Oil All API Classification GL-4 (2)
Transfer Case Gear Oil All API Classification GL-4 (2)
Differential Gear Oil (Front & Rear) All API Classification GL-5 (3)
(1) SAE 10W-30 is highly preferred for temperatures above 4°F (-20°C).
(2) SAE 75W-90 is highly preferred with Ambient Temperatures below 0°F (-18°C) to over 100°F (38°C). (75W-85 may also be used for the same Ambient Temperatures.) SAE 80W-90 may be used if Ambient Temperatures are above -4°F (-20°C) to over 100°F (38°C).
(3) SAE 80W-90 is highly preferred with Ambient Temperatures below 0°F (-18°C) to over 100°F (38°C). (75W-85 may also be used for the same Ambient Temperatures.) SAE 90 may be used if Ambient Temperatures are above 32°F (0°C) to over 100°F (38°C).
