Warning Controller Test: Esteem
- Disconnect warning controller harness connector E20. Connect negative battery voltage to connector E20, terminals No. 3 and 1 of warning controller. Connect positive battery voltage to connector E20, terminals No. 6 and 2 of warning controller. See Fig 1 . If buzzer sounds for 4-8 seconds, go to next step. If buzzer does not sound for 4-8 seconds, replace warning controller.
- Connect positive battery voltage to connector E20, terminal No. 6 of warning controller. Connect negative battery voltage to connector E20, terminals No. 1 and 2. If buzzer sound constantly, go to next step. If buzzer does not sound constantly, replace warning controller.
- Disconnect warning controller harness connectors G34 and L04. Connect positive battery voltage to connector G34, terminal No. 6 of warning controller. Connect negative battery voltage to connector L04, terminals No. 5 and connector E20, terminal No. 1. If buzzer sounds constantly, controller is operating properly at this time. If buzzer does not sound constantly, replace warning controller.
