Bleeding Brake System: Notes

Automated bleeding procedure MUST be performed if the following conditions are present:

• Conventional air bleeding of ABS system does not achieve desired pedal height or firm pedal feel.
• Replacement of ABS actuator assembly.
• Extreme loss of system fluid.
• Large amount of air in system.

System may be bled using conventional bleeding method if above conditions are NOT present. See appropriate DISC & DRUM article.
