Precautions for Diagnosing Trouble

Cruise control system is controlled by ECM. Before confirming DTC, do not disconnect connector from ECM, battery cable from battery, ground wire harness, or main fuse. Such disconnection will erase DTC stored in ECM.

- Before using scan tool, read its "Operator's (Instruction) Manual" to know how to use it.
- Be sure to clear all DTCs after completing troubleshooting.
