Harness - Media Control Unit - Retrofit: Restore
- Connect to Toolbox.
NOTE:
Remove any necessary trim for access.
- In Toolbox, select MCU Cloner > MCU Restore
.
NOTE:
If the MCU backup failed in the "Backup" section of this procedure, in Toolbox, select MCU Restore from IC
to restore the MCU files.
- Update the vehicle firmware. See Firmware Update
.
NOTE:
Make sure that the MCU is not in Factory Mode
before installing firmware.
- If the MCU backup failed in the "Backup" section of this procedure, in Toolbox, select Reset Remote Unlock Security Key > Start
