Module - Restraint Control - RCM - Remove And Replace: Removal

  1. Remove the front seat inner riser Riser - Front Seats - Inner (Remove And Replace) .
  2. Remove the front HVAC outlet duct.
    WARNING: Make sure LV is disconnected before continuing to the next step.

  3. Disconnect the harness connectors (x2) from the restraint control module (RCM).

  4. Remove the T30 Torx bolts (x3) that attach the RCM to the body of the vehicle (torque 8 N.m).
    NOTE: If necessary, carefully peel back the carpeting to gain access to the bolts.

  5. Remove the RCM from the vehicle.
