Accelerator - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Remove the driver's side footwell cover Assembly - Cover - Footwell - Driver's (Remove And Replace) .
  2. Disconnect the harness connector from the top of the accelerator pedal assembly.

  3. Remove the nuts (x2) that secure the accelerator pedal assembly to the mounting bracket (torque 8.5 N.m).

  4. Release the accelerator pedal assembly from the mounting bracket.
  5. Remove the accelerator pedal assembly from the vehicle.
