Module - Body Controller - Front - Remove And Replace: Remove

- Open the LH front door.
- Lower the LH front window.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the LH and RH underhood aprons. See Underhood Apron - LH (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the front underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Front (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the underhood storage unit access panel. See Underhood Storage Unit Access Panel (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace) .
- Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect And Connect) .
- Disconnect the front body controller module upper locking connectors (x2).NOTE: Push in the locking tabs, and then lift the levers to release the connectors.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Plastic trim tool
- Disconnect the front body controller module LH middle locking connector.NOTE: Push in the locking tab, and then lift the lever to release the connector.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Plastic trim tool
- Disconnect the front body controller module RH middle locking connectors (x2).NOTE: Slide the locking mechanism outwards to release connector.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Plastic trim tool
- Disconnect the front body controller module lower locking connectors (x2).NOTE: Slide the red locking tab outwards to release the connector.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Plastic trim tool
- Remove the bolt that attaches the front body controller module ground cable to the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 4 in extension
- 10 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the front body controller module to the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 4 in extension
- 10 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Release the locating tabs (x2) that attach the front body controller module to the vehicle, and then remove the module and ground cable from the vehicle.
