Module - HomeLink Transmitter - Remove And Replace: Install

- Position the homelink transmitter module on the vehicle, and then install the tab that attaches the module to the body.NOTE: Slide the module to the right of the vehicle to install.
- Connect the homelink transmitter module connector.
- Install the front fascia assembly. See Fascia Assembly - Front (Remove and Install) .
- Release the tabs (x4) and datums (x2) that attach the IP service panel to the console, and then slide the panel rearwards.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Plastic trim tool
- Using a laptop, connect to the vehicle with the ethernet diagnostic kit and Toolbox 3.
- Select "Actions/Autodiag" tab and search for "Homelink".
- Select "TEST-SELF_VCFRONT_X_HOMELINK", click "Run", and allow the routine to complete.NOTE: Select 'X' at the top right of the window to close once the routine is complete.
- Disconnect Toolbox 3 from the vehicle and remove the laptop and ethernet diagnostic kit.
- Install the tabs (x4) and datums (x2) that attach the IP service panel to the console.
- Verify the homelink icon is now visible on the center display.
- Raise LH and RH front windows.
- Close the LH and RH front doors.
