Subframe Assembly - Front - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. With the help of an assistant, install the new front subframe to the subframe lift.

  2. Install the steering rack onto the front subframe, and then install the bolts (x3) that attach the rack to the subframe.

    167 N.m (123.2 ft-lbs)

  3. Install the front stabilizer bar to the front subframe, and then install new nuts (x4) to attach the stabilizer bar to the subframe.

    50 N.m (36.9 ft-lbs)

  4. Install the front subframe. See SUBFRAME ASSEMBLY - FRONT (REMOVE AND INSTALL) .
  5. Install the front skid plate. See SKIDPLATE - FRONT (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  6. Install the front aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Remove and Replace) .
  7. Install the front fascia valance. See Valance - Front Fascia (Remove And Replace) .
  8. Install the LH and RH front wheels. See Wheel (Remove and Install) .
  9. Connect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) .
  10. Remove the steering wheel lock and the protector sheet from the driver seat.
  11. Remove the vehicle from the 2 post lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift .
  12. Calibrate the rear doors.
    NOTE: If the "Calibration Needed" message appears on the vehicle touchscreen, touch and hold Calibrate  to calibrate the rear doors.
  13. Refer to the Alignment Requirement tables to determine if an alignment check (AC) or full adjustment (FA) is necessary. See Alignment Requirement - Suspension .
