Distributor Vacuum Unit
Connect tachometer, with engine at normal operating temperature, adjust idle speed to specifications. Disconnect and plug hose leading from vacuum switching valve to adapter on intake manifold. Disconnect hose connecting vacuum switching valve with retard chamber of distributor unit at switching valve and connect it with intake manifold adapter. Engine RPM should decrease due to retard action. If there is no change in RPM, replace distributor assembly.
