Temperature Detecting Circuit

Idle stabilizer resistance specifications.:





1. Remove glove box and lower dash trim panel.
2. Disconnect thermistor connector and connect a variable resistor.
3. Run engine and A/C system. Set A/C system as follows:
a. Air intake control: RECIRC.
b. Air flow control: VENT
c. Temperature control: COOL.
d. Blower control: HI.
4. Measure resistance setting of variable resistor when compressor clutch disengages and engages, Fig. 16. If resistance is not in range indicated in graph, adjust amplifier. If cut-off or cut-in resistance is too high, turn TEMP screw clockwise. If resistance is too low or evaporator ices up, turn TEMP screw clockwise until compressor clutch engages at standard resistance.
