1. Remove ash tray and disconnect electrical connector from temperature control resistor.
2. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance of temperature control resistor.
3. Resistance should change smoothly from zero to 3,000 ohms. See Fig. 16.
4. If measured resistance is not within indicated level shown in Fig. 16, replace temperature control resistor.
