Use the chart below to determine SAE viscosity by temperature range anticipated before next oil change:

Temperature Range Viscosity

50° F and Above 30

10° F and Above 15W-40, 20W-40 or 20W-50

-10° F and Above 10W-40 or 10W-50

Between -10° F and 85° F 10W-30

32° F and Below 5W-30
