Servicing - M/T: Adjustments: Linkage: Van

  1. Remove shifter console box. Loosen shift cable adjusting nut at the cable to shifter connection. Place the transmission in neutral.
  2. Insert a .20" (5 mm) guide pin through shifter base and shift lever to hold the position. Lengthen or shorten cable as needed to obtain the proper cable stroke. Tighten adjusting nut, remove guide pin and install console box.
