Secondary Coil Resistance Test
- Disconnect ignition coil so it is isolated from remainder of system. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between coil positive (+) terminal and coil tower. See IGNITION COIL RESISTANCE table. See Fig 1.
- If resistance is not within specification, replace ignition coil. If resistance is within specification, proceed to PICK-UP COIL RESISTANCE TEST .
