Vacuum Advance

Remove distributor cap and rotor. Check that vacuum advance moves when vacuum is applied to each diaphragm. If vacuum advance does not move when vacuum is applied, replace vacuum unit.

NOTE: When diagnosing spark control system problem, see Figure, Figure or Figure for system components and operating parameters.
