Fuel Injectors & Fuel Rails: Installation
- Apply a thin coat of gasoline to new "O" rings. Install "O" rings on injectors. Push in injector and position as shown. See Fig 1. Install injector cover.
- Connect vacuum sensing hose to pressure regulator. Install fuel inlet hose to fuel rail. Install new insulator to each injector. Place spacers on cylinder head.
- Position fuel rail on cylinder head. Install bolts and tighten. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Check for fuel leaks.
