Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Drain coolant. Disconnect accelerator cable from throttle linkage. Remove air intake connector. Remove air intake connector bracket.
  2. Disconnect throttle position sensor connector. Disconnect idle speed control valve connector. Remove accelerator bracket. Disconnect all vacuum hoses from throttle body as required.
  3. Disconnect water by-pass hoses from throttle body. Remove throttle body bolts, throttle body and gasket. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all nuts and bolts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
