Throttle Body: Removal
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Drain coolant. Disconnect accelerator and throttle cables from throttle linkage. Disconnect air cleaner hose. Unplug throttle position sensor. Remove PCV hose.
- Label and disconnect emission control and A/C vacuum hoses. Remove delivery pipe with injectors. Remove throttle body (two bolts, two nuts and throttle body with gasket). When removing throttle body disconnect the following hoses to the auxiliary air valve:
- Water hose.
- No. 1 water by-pass hose.
- Two No. 4 air hoses.
