Throttle Body: Installation

Install throttle body. Connect the following hoses, see Fig 1, to the auxiliary air valve:
- Water hose.
- No. 1 water by-pass hose.
- Two No. 4 air hoses.
Install a new gasket and throttle body with two bolts and two nuts. Tighten to 9 Ft. Lbs. (13 N.m). Install delivery pipe with injectors. Tighten to 14 Ft. Lbs. (19 N.m). Connect throttle position sensor connector.
Install air cleaner cap and hose. Install air cleaner hoses. Connect emission vacuum hose(s). On models with automatic transmission connect throttle cable, and adjust it. On all models connect accelerator cable, and adjust it. Fill with engine coolant. Reconnect negative battery cable.
