Vehicle Speed Sensor
- Vehicle speed sensor is located on rear of combination meter in instrument cluster. Connect voltmeter and battery voltage to vehicle speed sensor terminals. See Fig 1. While rotating speedometer shaft, ensure voltage changes from battery voltage to less than 2 volts.
- Voltage should change approximately 4 times per revolution of speedometer shaft. Replace vehicle speed sensor if voltage does not change as specified.
