Removal & Installation (Previa 2.4L 2TZ-FE)

  1. Locate cold start injector at front of engine near EGR valve. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect cold start injector connector. Slowly remove cold start injector pipe union bolt and 2 gaskets, using care not to spill fuel. Remove cold start injector and gasket.
  2. Install cold start injector with a NEW gasket. Tighten bolts to 48 INCH lbs. (5.4 N.m). Install injector pipe, union bolt and 2 NEW gaskets. Tighten union bolt to 14 ft. lbs. (19 N.m). Connect cold start injector connector and negative battery cable. Check for fuel leakage. See CHECKING FOR FUEL LEAKS.
