Removal (2.2L)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect throttle cable from linkage on throttle body. Disconnect air temperature sensor connector and cruise control cable clamp from air cleaner housing. Remove duct hose from throttle body.
  2. Remove air cleaner top housing. Disconnect spark plug wires from spark plugs. Disconnect distributor electrical connector. Remove 2 distributor hold-down bolts. Remove distributor. Remove "O" ring from distributor housing and discard.
