CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEMS DTCS

OEM Code Test Procedures Description
11 (2), 3(4) Short In Motor Circuit
12 (2),35(4) Open Or Short In Magnet Clutch Circuit
13 (2),3(4) Position Sensor Detects Abnormal Voltage
14 (2),3(4) Open In Actuator Motor Circuit Or Position Sensor Signal. Value Does Not Change When Motor Operates
21 (2),4(4) Speed Sensor Signal Not Sent To CC ECU When Cruise Control Is Set
23 (5) (2),4(3)(4),9 Vehicle Speed Decreased 10 MPH Or More Below Speed Set or Speed Signal Pulse Is Abnormal
32 (2),2(4) Short In Control Switch Circuit
34 (2),2(4) Voltage Abnormality In Control Switch
41 3(2) Duty Ratio Of 100 Percent Output To Motor Acceleration Side
42 (4) Source Voltage Drop
Normal (2),1257 Or 86(3), 3, (4) Indicator Light Flashes 5 Times, Cruise Control Will Not Set Or Operate
(1) Perform appropriate test in order given. See TESTING & DIAGNOSIS
(2) Check wiring harness.
(3) Check speedometer cable function.
(4) Check CC ECU. See CRUISE CONTROL ECU CIRCUIT TEST Replace ECU as necessary and recheck system operation.
(5) If speed set can be maintained when speed control switch is again set to SET/COAST position, there is no malfunction.
