Code Detection Test Drive
- Ensure ignition is off. Remove EFI (15-amp) fuse for at least 10 seconds. Reinstall fuse. Connect jumper wire between DLC1 terminals TE2 and E1. See Figure. Start engine and warm to normal operating temperature.
- Run engine at 2500 RPM for 3 minutes. Allow engine to idle for one minute. If malfunction exists, MIL will illuminate while engine is idling.
