Ignition Main Relay

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Remove ignition main relay from fuse/relay box, located on driver's side rear corner of engine compartment, near strut tower.
  2. Using ohmmeter, check continuity between specified terminals. See Fig 1. Check ignition main relay operation by applying battery voltage and ground and checking continuity between specified terminals. See Fig 2. Replace ignition main relay if defective.
