Cold Start Injector: Removal

  1. Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE  under FUEL SYSTEM. Disconnect electrical connector at cold start injector. Cold start injector is located on side of air intake chamber. See Figure.
  2. Remove union bolts, gaskets and cold start injector fuel pipe. Cold start injector fuel pipe is located between cold start injector and the fuel rail. Remove bolts, cold start injector and gasket from air intake chamber.
