RPM Signal

Crankshaft position sensor and camshaft position sensor deliver input signals to Engine Control Module (ECM) to indicate crankshaft position and camshaft position. Crankshaft position sensor input signal is delivered to ECM terminal NE or NE+. Camshaft position sensor input signal is delivered to ECM terminal G2. Input signals are used for controlling fuel injection system, ignition timing (spark advance), EGR system, idle speed control system and A/C-cut control system.
