Removal & Installation
- Crankshaft position sensor is located at front (timing belt chain end) of engine, on top of timing chain cover, just above crankshaft sprocket. See Figure.
- Remove engine hanger for access to crankshaft position sensor. Disconnect electrical connector at crankshaft position sensor. Remove crankshaft position sensor.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table.
