Solenoid Resistor

  1. Solenoid resistor is bolted on top of driver's side front strut tower and contains a Dark Gray 7-pin electrical connector.
  2. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect electrical connector at solenoid resistor. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between electrical terminal +B and remaining electrical terminals on solenoid resistor. See Fig 1. Replace solenoid resistor if resistance is not 6 ohms at 68°F (20°C).
