Fuel Pump: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure using NEW gaskets. Tighten fuel pump mounting bracket-to-fuel tank bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table. Tighten fuel outlet line to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
  2. Operate fuel pump and check for fuel leaks. See FUEL PUMP OPERATION in BASIC TESTING - 3.4L article.
