Intake Air Temperature Sensor

Intake air temperature sensor is mounted in air filter housing. See Figure. Intake air temperature sensor measures incoming intake air temperature and delivers an input signal to THA terminal of Engine Control Module (ECM). The ECM may use input signal for controlling fuel injection system, fuel pressure control (if equipped) and heated oxygen sensor systems (if equipped).
