Distributor R, O & I: Removal

  1. Disconnect necessary electrical connectors, clamps, wires and hoses for removal of upper cap from air cleaner assembly. Disconnect air cleaner hose at throttle body. Remove air cleaner hose with upper cap from air cleaner assembly.
  2. Disconnect electrical connector at distributor. Disconnect ignition coil wire from ignition coil. Disconnect spark plug wires from spark plugs. Remove distributor hold-down bolt and distributor. Remove "O" ring from distributor housing.
